The direct results of the 330 constituencies of all the seven provincial assemblies have been announced. The Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have become the largest parties in four provinces directly in the Provincial Assembly. While Congress became the first party in Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, UML became the first party in province No. 1 and Lumbini province. Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) have directly won nine seats each in Karnali province.
Nepali Congress won the maximum number of seats in the state assembly. CPN (UML) got 91, CPN (Maoist Center) 54, CPN (Unified Socialist) 15, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party and Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal each won 11 seats each, Democratic Socialist Party won 9, Janmat Party and Civil Liberation Party won 7 seats each and Nepal Labor Kisan Party and our Swabhiman Party have won 1 seat each. According to the Election Commission, 12 independent candidates won in the state assembly.
In the direct 56 seats of Province No. 1, Congress won 17 seats, UML won 25, Maoist Center won 9 seats and Unified Socialists 2 and in Madhes Province 64 seats, Congress won 13 seats, UML won 15, JSP won 9, LOSPA won 7 seats, Janmat Party won 6, while Maoist Center and Unified Socialists won 4 seats each. Six independent candidates have won in the Madhes state assembly.
Congress won 25 seats, Maoist Center won 14, UML won 13, RPP won 7 seats, Unified Samajwadi won 5 and Nepal Workers' and Peasants' Party and our Nepali Party won 1 seat each in 66 seats of Bagmati Provincial Assembly and Congress won 18 seats, UML won 12, Maoist won 5 and one independent candidate won in 36 seats of Gandaki Provincial Assembly. UML won 18 seats, Congress won 17, Maoists won 5 seats, RPPA, JSP, LOSPA, and Civil Liberation Party two each, Janamat Party one and three independent candidates have been elected in 52 areas of Lumbini Provincial Assembly.
In 24 seats of the Karnali Provincial Assembly, Congress and Maoists both won 9 seats each, UML won 5 while independent candidate won 1 seat. In 32 areas of the Far West Provincial Assembly, Congress won 12 seats, Maoist Center won 8 seats, Civil Liberation Party won 5, UML and Unified Samajwadi each won 3 seats and an independent candidate won 1 seat.
