Counting of votes to begin in Kalikot from 1 pm

An all-party meeting has decided that the counting of votes for the election of members of the Legislative Assembly and State Assembly in Kalikot will be held from 1 pm today.

Chief Electoral Officer Bharat Lamsal informed that the ballots of all the polling stations in the district have been collected and the all-party meeting has decided to count the votes from 1 pm.

Former Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, Nagendra Shahi of CPN (UML) Kashichandra Baral of Independent, Pankh Bahadur Bista of Congress VP, Khadkaraj Shahi of Nemkipa, Dhan Bahadur Budha of RP and another independent Dhan Prasad Pandey are candidates for the House of Reprentatives in Kalikot.

Durg Bahadur Rawat from the Maoist Center in Kalikot State Assembly (A), Kurmraj Shahi from CPN (UML) and Rabindra Shahi from Nepal Labor Kisan Party and Hikmat Bahadur Bista from Congress in State Assembly (B), Birendra Bahadur Budha from UML, Vishwaraj Bam from United Socialist Party, Karna Bahadur Bista from Congress VP and Independent Laxman Bahadur Bam are candidates of the State Assembly.
