Free training has been provided by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to youths who have served as temporary police in the local level election. Director of the Gandaki Provincial Office, Pokhara, Pramod Bhakta Acharya informed that the training was provided with the objective of making the youth self-employed.
He said, "We have conducted the training as per the demand with the objective of facilitating skill-based training for employment." According to him, the Gandaki Provincial Office Pokhara on Friday in collaboration with the District Administration and District Police Office Kaski has started various short-term training as per the market demand.
Chief District Officer of Kaski, Jayanarayan Acharya said that the budget would provide entrepreneurship and self-employment oriented programs targeting youths involved in national service.
