Fourteen workers, 10 men and 4 women, trapped in the snow at Ghusdung in Puthauttarganga Gaonpalika-2 east of Rukum have been rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter on Monday.
According to Chief District Officer Laxmi Prasad Baskota, they were rescued from a helicopter after being trapped in the snow for weeks and have been sent to their village. All of them are in good health.
The workers had been trapped in the snow after a heavy snowfall. On Sunday, the Ministry of Home Affairs was requested to send a rescue helicopter after receiving information about the stranded workers.
