Hima village of Jumla has been without telephone for a year. It is said that there is a problem in the preparation of local level election due to non-operation of telephone.
Village Chief Administrative Officer Ran Bahadur Budha informed that there was a problem in communication due to lack of telephone in the village. According to Nepal Telecom Jumla, the tower in Hima village Kudu was damaged and since then there has been no telephone. Chief of the office Ram Chandra Shrestha said, "The goods have been ordered from Kathmandu as the horn of the tower has been damaged and no materials have been found. The telephone will be brought into operation after its arrival."
After receiving the news that the telephone was broken, the technical team of Nepal Telecom reached Hima village and returned. Local leaders and candidates of political parties have been complaining that it has become difficult for them to communicate and coordinate with each other after the telephone was blocked during the election.
