The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has introduced a policy to provide internet facility to the passengers of international flights even in Nepali skies.
The corporation has stated that a nine-member task force has been formed under the coordination of the director of the engineering maintenance department to maintain high quality internet facility in the widebody ship.
The corporation hopes that a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) system in the ship will provide more convenience to the passengers and will increase the satisfaction. The corporation has also mentioned that this will help in attracting more passengers.
Foreign airlines have already connected such a system so that they can use the internet facility while in the sky. Due to the lack of permission from the telecommunications authority, the airships were not allowed to provide Wi-Fi facilities.
