The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged people who have already received the first dose of COVID vaccines to take the second dose.
Frontline health workers, women health volunteers, ambulance and hearse drivers, mortuary department staff and security personnel, government employees, bank staff, journalists, local representatives, border security post staff, diplomatic missions staff among others who were administered vaccines from January 27 to February 22 have been urged to get the second dose of vaccines at respective vaccination centres.
Issuing a notice today, the MoHA has appealed to all to produce their vaccination cards and identity cards to get the vaccine.
The second dose of vaccines under the vaccination drive has a target to inoculate those who have received the first dose during a period between January 27 to February 22.
Those who have received the first dose of 'Covishield' vaccine can visit the vaccination centres accessible for them from April 20 to 24 (Baisakh 7-11)
Likewise, those who were administered the first dose from January 27-29 (Magh 14-16) and February 9-11 (Magh 27-29 ) will be provided with the second dose on Baisakh 7 (April 20).
Similarly, those receiving the first dose from January 31- February 4 ( Magh 18-22) and February 14 (on Falgun 2) will be given the second dose on April 21.
April 22 (Baisakh 9 ) is for those who had received the first dose on February 5 (Magh 23) and from February 15-17 (Falgun 3-5) and April 23 (Baisakh 10) is for the day for those who had been given the first dose on February 6 (Magh 24 ), February 18 (Falgun 6), February 20 (Falgun 8) and on February 21 (Falgun 9).
April 24 (Baisakh 11) has been set for those receiving the first dose on February 12 (Magh 30 ), on February 19 (Falgun 7) and on February 22 (Falgun 10).
About 1.8 million people have received the first dose of Covishield vaccine.
