A meeting was held between President Ramchandra Poundel and officials of NRNA Canada. NRNA Canada has informed that President Paudel has directed the Home Secretary to issue an immediate circular to district and ward levels to grant NRN citizenship to non-resident Nepalis who came to Nepal to celebrate Dashain and Tihar.
