Police arrested a man with a muzzleloader gun from Phidim Municipality-9 in Panchthar district.
The arrested has been identified as Sukraraj Rai (30) of Lungphanung in the same municipality.
Rai was allegedly carrying the gun with him when the police caught him. Nawamidada-based Area Police personnel nabbed him with the gun during a routine check on Saturday morning.
Further investigation into the matter is being carried out, informed the police.
