The Nepal Sanskrit University and Maharishi International University, America, are to sign agreement on the issue of study and research of Vastu Shastra (architectural science).
The agreement is going to be signed between the two universities on Saturday in Kathmandu, on the occasion of concluding of the six-week workshop organised in Nepal, said Chairperson of Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation and former state minister, Deepak Prakash Banskota. Scholars of both countries are participating in the workshop.
The six-week workshop was organised with the aim of promoting study of Vastu Shastra. Both universities are signing the agreement after scholars laid emphasis that knowledge and applications of architect is indispensable for peace and prosperity.
Architecture is one of the 12 areas of Vedic knowledge that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi propagated across the world.
Such type of programme was held for the first time in Nepal, according to the Foundation. A total of 24 architect engineer of 14 countries of Asia, Europe, North and South and Australia continents are participating in the programme.
