The problem of Nepalis who are facing difficulties in Portugal due to lack of or expired passports has been resolved.
The process of taking applications for electronic passports operated in Lisbon from March 29th to April 25th, 2023 has been completed.
According to the Non-Resident Nepalese Association of Portugal a total of 2,308 applicants applied for passports during the passport service camp that lasted for about a month.
Out of which 764 were lost, 1 thousand 440 were renewed, 18 were damaged, 13 new children and 73 children's passports were renewed.
Similarly, 20 people started the process of divorce. Applications for registration of births, marriages and other services were also taken in the camp.
