Relief has been distributed to the families who lost their lives due to the Covid-19 infection. The District Administration Office has distributed Rs. One lakh to the families of the victims of covid-19 infection.
Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Devkota informed that Rs. 1.7 million has been distributed to the families of the deceased. According to Prajia Devkot, the money will provide some relief to the families who have lost family members during covid-19.
The Karnali state government will provide relief to the families of those who have died from COVID-19 based on one of the two certified PCR reports and antigen report of the COVID-19 infected as certified by the government as mentioned in Schedule 1, 2, and 3 of the Relief Procedure Procedure, 2078. The amount has been provided as a relief by making a decision.
Ratna Prasad Sharma of Chhedagad-6, Bhim Bahadur Malla of Nalgad-11, Vir Bahadur Singh of Nalgad-7, Gangadevi Shahi of Nalgad-5, Ganesh Bahadur Rawal of Nalgad-4, Pathveer Thapa of Nalgad-3, Krishna Shah of Bheri-3 The deceased have been identified as Tulvir Rana of Bheri-10, Leela Nepali of Bheri-4, Sridevi Khadka of Bheri-6 and Haribhakta Rokayal of Shivalaya-6. Sudhan Rawal of Nalgad-4 said that the families who lost their relatives and parents due to the corona infection got some relief with the relief money.
According to the District Administration Office, 14 of the 17 people who died of corona infection have already received the money and three are in the process. In order to claim payment, an application has to be submitted to the district administration office along with the proof of death provided by the hospital from covid-19 infection, proof of death registration of the concerned ward, and recommendation.
