Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha informed that he has canceled the spy expenses that have been taken by ministers and secretaries since the Panchayat period in today's meeting of the House of Representatives.
He also informed that the decision to give a private companies a national identity card, which includes our personal and biological details, has been cancelled, and that the process of bringing Nepali citizens abroad under the ambit of the law has been advanced.
He informed that a new law has been proposed in the draft regarding the 30-year service period in the Nepal Police and will be submitted to the House soon. He said that a new system for promotion is going to be implemented to end the discrimination related to the promotion and facilities of the lower level employees within the police.
According to him, a total of 316 people, including 190 Nepal Police and 126 members of the Armed Police, who were assigned to protect special persons, have been returned.
Mentioning that those involved in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees have been brought under the ambit of action, he informed the House that the Ministry has taken the necessary initiative regarding the incentive allowance given to the traffic police and others.
