Essayist and travel writer Yubaraj Nayaghare has said that there is some improvement in the situation of being able to make a living as a writer in Nepal. In an interview given to NepalNews, he said that it is a good thing that the number of publishers for publishing authors' books in Nepal is slowly increasing. He clarified that not enough books have been published yet.

Writer Nayaghare has published 19 different books out of  8 are travelogues. He visited different places in Nepal and wrote these travelogues. He has visited 77 districts of Nepal, many of which he visited on foot. He has also visited 22 different countries.

He made it clear that the state should encourage writers by giving them writing grants. He said that the government should encourage the translation of literary books written in Nepal and send them abroad.

He said that it would be easier to introduce Nepal if various travelogues and other books written in Nepal could be translated into different foreign languages and sent abroad. It is seen that the government of Nepal and the associations related to the tourism sector should take the initiative in this work. He says that if Nepali literature can be translated into various regional languages of neighboring countries India and China, the market will expand.

He complained that many books come to Nepal from India, but limited books go from Nepal to India. He demanded that efforts should be made to bring books of Nepali literature to various places in India where there are Nepali speakers.
