Rescue of 28 laborers held hostage in India

The team of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has rescued 28 Nepalese laborers who were held hostage for 5 months in Srinagar, Kashmir, after being trafficked for employment. 21 workers from Siraha and 7 laborers from Dhanusha have been handed over to the District Human Trafficking Control Committee today. A team led by Ministry Secretary Dinesh Bhattarai was active for rescue. The Human Intelligence Control Committee will send everyone home today.
