About Rs 600,000 cash was robbed from Roshan Jyoti Oil Store (petrol pump) based at Belapatti in Bideha Municipality-7, Dhanusha district on Monday night.
The door of the store was broken in the middle of the night and the cash was robbed by six/seven unknown persons from the counter. They even beat store owner Shambu Shah (40) of Bafhi in Bideha-8. After robbing the cash and beating the owner, they absconded from the site.
A joint team deployed from the Giddha-based Police Office and Border Unit police have launched a search operation to find the robbers involved in the robbery case.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
