Devchuli Municipality of Nawalpur started the management of stray cattle.
Hari Prasad Neupane, the city chief of Devchuli municipality, said that the management initiative was taken after the destruction of crops. Devchuli-10 is about managing loose cattle on the banks of the Lokaha river.
Reptikumar Gharti, ward president of Devchuli-10, said that around 100 cows were collected from different areas of the city. Some cows have been taken by a farm in Chitwan after paying revenue to the municipality. Currently, about 40 cows are in the management center. The municipality has purchased straws for feeding the cows.
