The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for Sunday has been moved to Monday. According to the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Dr. Bharatraj Gautam, the meeting of the House of Representatives, scheduled for 1:00 PM on Sunday, could not be held at the scheduled time, so it was decided to hold it at 3:00 PM on Monday.
General Secretary Gautam has informed through the notification that the Speaker has fixed the meeting for Monday according to the rules of the House of Representatives.
Earlier, on the request of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Speaker Devraj Ghimire postponed the meeting of the House of Representatives, which was called for 1 pm on Sunday, to 3 pm.
The meeting of the top leaders of the three major political parties agreed to remove the obstruction of the House of Representatives that has been ongoing since Wednesday. On the initiative of Prime Minister Prachanda, in a meeting held on Sunday at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers office at Singhdarbar, it was agreed to open the obstruction of the federal parliament.
Since Wednesday, the main opposition party CPN (UML) and other parties have been disrupting the meeting of both houses of the federal parliament.
Prime Minister Prachanda, Chairman of the main opposition party CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli and Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba participated in the meeting.
