Two people died today in separate incidents in Saptari. One person died due to electric shock in Madhuvan, Bodebarsine Municipality-3 of Saptari. According to the district police office, 18-year-old Ram Naresh Yadav of the same place is the deceased.
He was suddenly electrocuted while running a table fan on the wall. The police said that he was seriously injured due to electric shock and was admitted to Chinmasta Hospital Rajviraj for treatment, but he died during the treatment.
Similarly, a woman died in a motorcycle accident in Hanumannagar Kangkalni Municipality-5 Joginia of Saptari. Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle informed that Anuradha Mehta, the 40-year-old wife of Vijay Mehta, a resident of Maleth, Rajviraj Municipality-9, Saptari, who was riding behind the motorcycle, died.
A motorcycle numbered State 2-01-001 P762 coming from Bhardah towards Rajviraj had lost control and had an accident. According to the District Police Office, she was also injured in the accident and died during treatment at Chinnamasta Hospital Rajbiraj. Meanwhile, the police said that further investigations are being carried out on the incident in both places.
