Foreign Affairs Minister Narayan Prakash Saud has said that his US visit was fruitful.
Talking to the media at Tribhuvan International Airport upon his return to the country last evening, Saud said his visit was successful to further deepen Nepal-US relations.
"Bilateral relations have further strengthened with more mutual friendship, cooperation and assistance between Nepal and America from this visit," the Minister said.
Minister Saud also shared that he held a bilateral meeting with his US counterpart Antony J. Blinken and made commitment to intensify bilateral cooperation.
According to Saud, he urged the US government officials to increase support to Nepal in the areas of IT development, food security, agriculture, market access, investment and trade.
Similarly, the two sides discussed the timely implementation of the MCC projects.
The Foreign Minister informed the press that he has extended an invitation to the US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken for Nepal visit.
Minister Saud had left here for the US on October 29.
