The vote counting of the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly will be simple and easy because of the small size of the ballot papers compared to the local-level elections.
Chief Returning Officer of Kathmandu Raju Kumar Khatiwada said there will be no confusion in vote counting as the size of the ballot papers is small and simplified. “The ballot papers have been printed as per the number of candidates in every constituency. So, the counting this time will not be cumbersome,” he assured.
The ballot papers prepared for the local-level elections were large in size.
The Office of the Returning Officer is learned to announce the entire result of the polls in the estimated time by the Election Commission.
