Bhim Bahadur Sarki, Ward Chairman of Ghorahi-4 of Dang, has decided to take custody of four local orphans. Ward Chairman Sarki has said that he will take responsibility for the upbringing and education of the four people who have lost their parents.
Deepak Kami, 13, Sharmila Kami, 11, Ashok Kami, 6, and Sonia Kami, 11, of Ghorahi-19 Ramche have become orphans after losing their parents. His father Mohan Lal died on March 26, 2008, while working in a coal mine. Mother Shanti also died in a fight in December 2021. After that, all four became parentless. Deepak is currently studying in class 4, Sharmila in class 2, and Ashok in class 1. After the death of their parents, they are not allowed to go to school regularly.
After learning that the daily life of the children has become difficult, Sarki, the ward chairman of Ghorahi-4, has committed to providing upbringing and education with his own investment. He reached the orphanage on Tuesday and distributed food and fair clothes. Ward chairperson Sarki said that the children's uncle will take care of them after returning from India.
"I have decided to keep the children at home so that their future will not be bleak," he said. Chandrakali BK, the aunt of the four children, has been taking care of them in her own house.
