We pledge to work for the country: Chairman Nepal

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed his commitment to work honestly for the country.

Addressing a program organized by the Buddhist Himal Tamang Gumba at Bhanu Municipality-3 of Tanahun today, Chairman Nepal said that the youth, women, Adivasi and Janajati were excited with the formation of the Unified Socialist Party.

"Everyone is excited about the birth of a party full of sincerity and devotion to the people," said Nepal, who is also a former prime minister. "Our party shines like a star in Nepal's politics."

Stating that discussions have been held to make Lamjung and Gorkha a big city by integrating them, Chairman Nepal said, "I would like to draw the attention of the government for the integrated development of all the three districts." Chairman Nepal said that he was determined to move the country towards prosperity by moving forward on the path of socialism.

"We are determined to move the country forward by moving forth on the path of justice, equality, development and prosperity and creating an environment that respects all," he said.

On the occasion, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha expressed his commitment to allocate budget for the development of the region. Minister Shrestha said that he would work with the people in mind as the people are of biggest priority for a unified socialist.
