A Nepali woman who was reportedly trafficked to Kuwait has been rescued.

Nepal Socialist Front coordinated by Yubaraj Safal successfully rescued a woman of 26 years with her permanent address at Badegaun of Sindhupalchowk from Al Jahra of Kuwait and brought her to Kathmandu on August 9.

Woman's relative Raj Shrestha and middleperson Umesh Chauhan allegedly transported her to Kuwait, promising a lucrative job there. Though she was said to be provided a job in a beauty treatment company, she was forced to do the roles of a domestic help, she complained.

As she narrated, her family was not well-off and she had decided to go for foreign jobs thinking that it would help improve her status financially. But after two days of her landing in Kuwait, she was forced to work as a domestic help. She after sometimes had been able to communicate with Safal and share him about her situation.

The Front first varied the departure of the woman to Kuwait through a contact with her agents.

It was her elder sister who decided to bear the cost of her return ticket to the home. ----
