Police have arrested a YouTuber on the charge of making a prank video to harass a woman and uploading it on a social site.
Purna Chandra Bhusal aka Pradeep, 26, of Hupsekot in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta east) was arrested on the charge of uploading a video while misbehaving with a woman and spreading negative messages on YouTube, according to the Cyber Bureau of the Nepal Police.
Superintendent of Police at the Bureau, Pashupati Kumar Raya, said the investigation into the case was underway after extending judicial remand from the District Court today under Electronic Transaction Act-2063.
Bhusal was arrested on Monday with the help of Nawalparasi Police and brought to Kathmandu, added Bureau.
