As the representative and state assembly elections to be held on November 20 are approaching, the top leaders of major political parties have started arriving in Far West. The top leaders of the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have come to Sudurpaschim to participate in the election assembly to win the candidates of their parties and alliances.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba reached Dhangadhi on Wednesday to participate in the election program to be held in Dadeldhura, his home district. Deuba, who is also a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dadeldhura from the ruling coalition, is scheduled to participate in the election meeting at Khalanga Bus Park, Dadeldhura headquarters today. According to the Nepali Congress Dadeldhura, Deuba Dadeldhura is scheduled to participate in the election meeting in more than half a dozen places and ask for votes and return to Kathmandu on November 20.

Deuba, who has been winning elections continuously since 2048, is facing Karna Bahadur Malla from Nepali Congress (BP), Shyam Sinal from Janata Samajwadi Party, Govind Khadayat from Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, independent candidates Bikram Shahi and Sagar Dhakal. It is estimated that Deuba, who has the active support of the CPN (Maoist Center), will find it difficult for other candidates to lose the election. In the Far West, the ruling coalition has shared seats between Nepali Congress, Maoist Center and CPN (Unified Socialist).

In Far West, where the House of Representatives is located, the Nepali Congress has nominated candidates from the ruling alliance in nine seats, while the Maoist Center has shared four and the United Socialist Party has shared three seats in the House of Representatives.

Similarly, it has been decided that former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma will come to Sudurpaschim to address the election meeting. Rajendrasinh Rawal, co-in-charge of UML Sudurpaschim Province Committee, said that President Oli's election campaign will start from Darchula on Friday. He informed that there is a program to address election meetings in Darchula, Baitadi and Kanchanpur on Friday.
