Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged not to oppose the ruling coalition in the party's election campaign.
At a meeting of the party's top leaders and central members held at the party office on Tuesday, he urged them not to take any action that could affect the alliance.
"Don't oppose the coalition in the election campaign. Please create an atmosphere in favor of the Congress," said Central Member Nain Singh Mahar.
A meeting with top leaders was held at the central office for the final preparations of the campaign. Yagya Raj Joshi, Nanu Banstola, Rama Poudel, Sarita Prasai, Govinda Bhattarai and others have expressed their views on what the party should do in the election campaign.
