Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala have met Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Nepal's Chairman Upendra Yadav at the latter's residence this morning.
During the meeting, contemporary political issues as well as the government's policies and programs to be tabled in the Federal Parliament were discussed, Minister Khand's secretariat informed.
Likewise, the leaders discussed different bills including the Citizenship Bill that the government is preparing to table in the parliament after forging consensus among the political parties.
Home Minister Khand said that positive talks were held on tabling the Citizenship Bill with political parties' consensus.
On Thursday, Minister Khand and Minister Sharma met with Maoist Centre's Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' regarding the Citizenship Bill.
