Gangaram Chaudhari of Nagarik Unmukti Party has won the election to the member of House of Representatives from constituency no 3 of Kailali district. He collected 23,120 votes.
His nearest rival Krishna Kumar Chaudhari of CPN (Maoist Centre) got 17,749 votes, thereby losing the election to Gangaram, according to election officer, Laxmi Narayan Dahal. Krishna Kumar is the candidate on behalf of ruling alliance.
Similarly, Gauri Shankar Chaudhari of CPN UML got 9,874 votes and Birendra Bam of Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 7,047 votes.
The constituency recorded 63,440 turnouts out of 107 thousand voters.
Now the vote count under Provincial Assembly is underway, Dahal added.
