The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to form a new government on its own leadership.
The party's central execution committee meeting held at the party central office, Sanepa took the decision to this effect on Sunday, said NC Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.
The meeting formed a committee for holding parliamentary party elections. During the meeting, the post election scenario was also reviewed while deliberating on the party's performance in the November 20 parliamentary elections, added Spokesperson Mahat.
NC won a total of 89 seats-57 under the First-Past-the-Post and 32 in the proportional representation system and emerged the biggest party of the federal parliament.
