The Nepali Congress has won the post of chief of Mithila Bihari Municipality of Dhanusha and the CPN (Maoist Center) has won the post of deputy chief. Rajendra Kumar Yadav of the Nepali Congress (NC) defeated Anil Kumar Yadav of the CPN (UML) by 210 votes. While Rajendra won with 4304 votes, his nearest rival Anil, who is also the former chief, got 4094 votes.
CPN-Maoist's Sobhadevi Shah has emerged victorious in the Deputy Chief. While Shah got 3330 votes, his nearest rival Anita Kumari of the CPN (Unified Socialist) got 2797 votes.
Maoists in all municipal chiefs and deputy chiefs
CPN-Maoist candidate has won in all the municipal chiefs and deputy chiefs. According to the final results of the counting of votes, Kariram Yadav of the UCPN (M) has been elected as the Chief and Rahima Khatun as the Deputy Chief.
Yadav has received 4,212 votes. His nearest rival Jagat Sundar Shah of the Nepali Congress polled 4,076 votes. Khatun of the UCPN (M) has won the election with 4,699 votes. His nearest rival Kiran Kumari Kapar of UML got 3,604 votes.
Nepali Congress as the Chief and Deputy Chief of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality of Dhanusha
Nepali Congress candidate has won the post of Chief and Deputy Chief of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality of Dhanusha. According to the final results of the counting of votes, Jit Narayan Yadav of the Nepali Congress has been elected as the chief and Tulsa Kumari Pandey as the deputy chief.
Yadav has received 3,108 votes. His nearest rival, Ram Chalitar Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party of Nepal, polled 2,760 votes. Pandey of the Nepali Congress won with 3,283 votes while his nearest rival Ganita Kumari Mahato of the Janata Samajwadi Party of Nepal got 2,429 votes.
Congress as the chief and deputy chief of Hanspur municipality of Dhanusha
Nepali Congress candidate has won the post of Chief and Deputy Chief of Hanspur Municipality of Dhanusha. Congress' Pradip Yadav won with 4,409 votes while his nearest rival Ram Gyan Mandal got 2,815 votes.
