According to the results of the local level election, the Nepali Congress came first, the CPN (Maoist Center) second and the CPN (UML) third in Kavrepalanchok district. The Congress has won seven seats, the CPN (Maoist Center) four, the CPN-M one and the CPN (Unified Socialist) one.
Nepali Congress has won major posts in Banepa, Panauti, Namobuddha and Panchkhal municipalities of the district while in Roshi, Temal and Bethanchowk, congress has won the post of village chairman. Similarly, the Nepali Congress has won the post of Deputy Chief in Dhulikhel and Mandandeupur and Vice-Chairmen in Mahabharat, Khanikhola, Bhumlu and Chaurideurali. The CPN (Maoist Center) has won the posts of chairman and deputy chief of Khanikhola, Chaurideurali, Mahabharat and Bhumlu village councils and Namobuddha municipality.
UML has won the post of chief in Dhulikhel and the post of deputy chief in Banepa, Panauti and Panchkhal municipalities. CPN (Unified Socialist), on the other hand, has won the Mandandeupur municipality chief post. In terms of wards, the first party is the Congress, the second is the UML, the third is the Maoist Center and the fourth is the Unified Socialists. Out of 135 wards of the district, Congress has won in 60 wards of the district while CPN-UML has won in 43 wards and CPN (Maoist Center) in 25 wards.
