In the ongoing vote count of Chitwan by-election, Rabi Lamichhane has brought more than fifty thousand votes from Chitwan-2. Lamichhane got 50,000 29 votes, far behind his competitors.
Jit Narayan Shrestha of Congress has got 9 thousand 165 votes and Ram Prasad Neupane of UML has got 8 thousand 877 votes. By a margin of 40 thousand 864 votes, Lamichhane has surpassed his rival.
Lamichhane, who got 49,300 votes in the last election, has increased the number of votes. Now 8,000 votes are yet to be counted.
