The operation of vehicles used for essential services would not be obstructed at Narayangadh and Bharatpur area on the inaugural day of the 10th General Convention of the CPN UML.
Even other vehicles along the east-west highway would be provided alternative routes on the day. However, there are reports saying that private and public vehicles have been barred from entering the Narayangarh area from 10 am on Friday. Vehicles coming from western Nepal will be stopped at Narayani Bridge, and those coming from the east will be stopped at the intersection of the District Administration Office. But ambulance and other emergency vehicles will be allowed to operate.
Chief District Officer in Chitwan, Ashman Tamang, shared amidst the uncertainty among the public over the transportation in the wake of the mega event of the CPN UML being held from November 26 to 28. Tamang said, “It is not difficult for the needy in the case of the East. Bypass roads and highways will be cleared. Easy for travelling to Kathmandu or Pokhara.”
As reported before, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Staff and Traffic police will be deployed on the opening day of the convention.
