Electricity distribution will be affected for eight hours tomorrow in various places of Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
The Nepal Electricity Authority has issued a notice saying that the power distribution will be affected from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm as the work is being done to upgrade the Teku substation and charge the Teku-Suchatar 66 KV line to 132 KV.
According to the authority, electricity will be affected in Sanepa Ram Mandir, Gusigal, Advanced College, Amravati and Radiant School areas under the Bagmati feeder. Likewise, electricity will be affected in Balkhu, Jhamsikhel, Pulchok and Thadodhunga areas under the Pulchok feeder.
According to the authority, electricity will be affected in Balkhu, Khasibazar, Tribhavun University and other areas under Jnantirtha Marg Kalimati Salik Chowk, Chhauni, Dallu, Bijeshwari, Swayambhu and Kirtipur feeder.
Similarly, electricity will be affected in areas such as Teku to Pachli Bhairav under the Tripureshwar feeder, through the Union of Industries and Commerce and Sukumbasi Basti.
The authority has informed that efforts will be made to resume the line after completing the work in these areas within the stipulated time.
