Nepal's Machhindra Club has entered the second round of tournament in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup Football Championship by defeating Bhutan's Paro AFC Club.
In the match played at the Tripureswor-based Dasharath Stadium today, the Machhindra Club defeated Paro AFC 3-2 goal margin.
Machhindra Club, also the first runner up of the Martyr Memorial 'A' Division League, grabbed the opportunity to compete for the AFC Cup when League Champion Church Boys Club was without AFC license.
Machhindra's strikers, Bimal Ghartimagar, Ayush Ghalan and Afij Olawal netted goals.
With this win, Machhindra Club will take on Indian Mohan Bagan Club in the second round. ---
