Nepali national cricket team defeated United Arab Emirates UAE by 42 runs in Dubai today. Nepal has won 3 out of 4 matches and ended the ongoing triangular series in UAE.
In the ICC World Cup League 2 triangular ODI series, UAE was all out for 187 runs in 46 overs chasing the winning target of 230 runs presented by Nepal.
Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal and batsman Rohan Mustafa of UAE had some dispute during the match. Sandeep appealed for LBW out to Mustafa in the third ball of the 35th over.
Nepal's Sompal Kami and Dipendra Singh Airi took three wickets each, Arif Sheikh, Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane took one wicket each.
Bhim Sarki Scored the most 70 runs. He made that run in 99 balls. This is Bhima's first fifty in ODIs. Arif Shaikh 43 runs,Kushal Malla 32, Sandeep Lamichhane 27, Karan KC 17, Pratish GC 11, Gyanendra Malla 11 and Ashif Shaikh scored 6 runs.
With the win, Nepal has risen to fifth place.
