Palesha Goverdhan has left for China to train in Para Taekwondo and study Architecture Engineering at Tongji University College of Architecture.
The Hangzhou Asian Para Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from October 22 to 28, 2023. Goverdhan will participate in Para Taekwondo Games of Nepal.
Goverdhan is ranked 7th in the world, in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, Palesha beat the US, Surveya and came close to the medal, but was defeated by China's Liuli. Having won a historic gold medal in the Bahrain Youth Asian Games, Nepal has high hopes for a medal with Goverdhan.
