After 47 years of its establishment, the Nepal Volleyball Association is going to give salaries to the players of the national men's and women's volleyball teams on a monthly basis. The Volleyball Association informed that 24 players of the national men's and women's teams will be paid at the rate of 5000 Rs per month.
Initially, the Volleyball Association provided funds to the players at the rate of 15,000 Rs for 3 months from September to November.
Volleyball Association President Jitendra Bahadur Chand handed over the money to the players.
24 people, including former volleyball players living in America, have provided financial support to the players.
