Three assistant coaches have been appointed for the Nepali national women's football team being trained for the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has hired Bhagawati Rana Magar, Aruna Gurung, and Chetan Ghimire as the assistant coaches for the team. Their term is until the preparation for the qualification match, according to ANFA Spokesperson Kiran Rai.
Likewise, Prakash Baidhya has been given the responsibility of coaching a goalkeeper for the squad. A total of 45 players have been summoned for the closed practice kicked off since Monday.
The closed camp training has begun in preparations for the AFC Women Asian Cup-2020 qualifier, said All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Spokesperson, Kiran Rai. Forty-five players have been called for closed training.
Nepal is playing the qualification match remaining in 'F' group. Philippines and Hong Kong are also in the ' F' group. The qualification match of the group will be held in Nepal. The AFC has fixed the date for the qualification matches from September 13 to June 23. The winner of the match will be qualified for 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup scheduled to be held in India next year.
