Head coach of the national football team Abdullah Almutairi has indicated that he will return to Nepal. The comes after he had announced that he would never return to Nepal after the match against Bangladesh in the SAAF Championship.
Almutairi had announced that the final match of the SAAF Championship was his final game as Nepal's coach on October 13 and that he would never return to Nepal.
At the same time, he did not come to Nepal from Maldives but went straight to Qatar. However, he had already indicated that he would return to Nepal after the final game.
Today, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Karma Tsering Sherpa talked with head coach Almutairi in Qatar. Chairman Sherpa said that the talks with the coach were positive.
"Our discussion today is about strengthening the Nepali national team," Sherpa wrote in a photo with Almutairi on social network Facebook. Almutairi had given a positive signal saying that he was tired after working hard for six months and would think about returning to Nepal after two weeks of rest.
