16 Russian climbers allowed to climb in Nepal

Russian citizens, given the current geopolitical landscape, will be involved in the climbing season. A total of 16 people, including 11 men and 5 women from the Russian Federation, have been granted permission to climb various mountains, according to the Department of Tourism. A total of 14 people, including 10 men and 4 women from the Russian Federation, have been allowed to climb the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.

Ukraine had requested the Nepalese government to ban Russian climbers from entering Nepal. Despite requests through the Embassy of Ukraine in the Capital of India, the Government of Nepal has not made any public statement in this regard.

 Russia has been banned by the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA). Founded in 1932, the organization has 67 member countries.


The executive board of UIAA - the International Federation of Mountaineering and Mountaineering - has suspended all Russian UIAA officials. The Russian Mountaineering Federation (RMF) and representatives of Russian officials and athletes have been excluded from all UIAA-approved activities and programs.

 Ukrainian climbers, who have been involved in mountaineering in the past, will not be involved in mountaineering this spring.

Although many Ukrainian climbers have booked for mountaineering in Nepal some time ago, it has been canceled, according to the company concerned.

So far this spring, climbers from 61 different countries have been allowed to climb 18 different mountains in Nepal. According to the Department of Tourism, Government of Nepal, a total of 505 climbers, including 389 males and 116 females, have been granted permission to climb. The highest number of 93 climbers from the United States were allowed to climb, including 73 men and 20 women.


Similarly, the second place among the allowed climbers is in the UK. So far, 44 men, including 36 men and 8 women, have been granted permission in the UK. Similarly, Nepal and India are in third place. Thirty-seven people, including 31 men and six women, have been allowed to climb Nepal. But other Nepalese who have gone as mountain guides and helpers in various climbing teams will also climb the mountain. Similarly, 37 climbers including 27 men and 10 women from India have been allowed to climb.

Similarly, 32 people from France, 22 people from Canada, 18 people from Australia, 16 people from China, 15 people from Austria, 10 people from Spain, and 9 people from Norway are among those who got permission to climb. Eight from Brazil, Germany, Norway, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Japan, and seven each from Iran and Romania. Six from Italy, Mexico, Poland, and Sweden, five each from Georgia, Israel, and South Africa, four each from Belgium, Kenya, and Switzerland, and three each from Argentina, Peru, and Qatar.

Among the mountains of Nepal, the highest climb traffic this time is on the world's highest peak, Everest. The Government of Nepal has so far allowed a total of 204 people, including 158 men and 46 women from 42 countries, to climb Mt. Everest. A total of 23 teams will try to climb Mt. Everest. The United States has the highest number of climbers permitted.

Fifty-one people, including 41 men and 10 women from the United States, have been allowed to climb Mt. Everest. Similarly, 21 men and 4 women from the United Kingdom have been allowed to climb. Fifteen people, including 10 men and 5 women from India, have been allowed to climb Mt. Everest.

This time climbers from the Gulf Arab states of Iraq, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia are trying to climb Mt. Everest. Only one woman from Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, El Salvador, Iran, Poland, Qatar, and Uruguay is attempting to climb Mt. Everest.

Many climbers come to Nepal every year for mountaineering, but this time only a small number of climbers are represented from Japan and South Korea.

The Government of Nepal has so far collected US Dollars 2,455,750 in revenue from various climbing permits.
