Alex Txikon (Basque), a Spanish climber, and a team of Sherpas from Seven Summit Treks have successfully reached the main summit of Mt. Manaslu, the eighth-highest mountain in the world at an elevation of 8,163 meters (26,781 feet) this morning.
The team was led by the experienced mountaineer Alex Txikon, who successfully reached the summit on his third winter attempt. The team braved harsh winter conditions and treacherous terrain to make it to the top.
The ascent of Mt. Manaslu is considered to be a challenging and dangerous endeavor, even in the best of conditions. The mountain, which is located in Nepal, is known for its unstable snow and ice, as well as its strong winds and low temperatures. The first winter ascent of Mt.
