After the accident of Yeti Airlines on Sunday, all ATR aircrafts flying in Nepal have been technically tested.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal issued a press release on Monday saying all ATR-42 and ATR-72 aircraft have been thoroughly tested and no technical fault has been found in the aircrafts. The authority has clarified that the regular inspection, pre-flight inspection and scheduled inspection of any aircraft are carried out in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization and the standards of the aircraft manufacturer.
