It will take another year to complete the cable car under construction in Bandipur. Although preparations have been made to bring it into operation since the last decade, the construction work has been delayed due to the pandemic.

The construction of cable car service in Bandipur is about 95% complete. With the construction of the building, the construction of the 'structure' of the cable car has reached the final stage. Ram Chandra Sharma, chairman of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited, said that it would take some more time as the mechanical equipment would have to be brought from abroad as the one and a half storey Queen Tower would have to be added.

Stabilization is being done to increase the capacity of the cable car. He said, "Even if the equity product is produced in the country, the delay is due to the fact that the technology has to come from outside." He said that the construction of the cable car was delayed due to the corona, even though efforts were made to bring it into operation since last year.

It was planned to be operational a year ago but it was delayed, so it was delayed due to lack of quality and attractiveness. He said, "Now the work has started with the preparation to operate as soon as possible."

Initially, there were 300 workers but now 50 to 60 workers are working continuously. As skilled manpower is required for finishing, manpower will be increased again.

The Bandipur Cable Car Project has constructed the 15-storey Queen Tower in South Asia with a different purpose. Arrangements have been made for the cable car to enter the four-star hotel directly.

A panoramic sunrise view can be seen from the four-star hotel. The hotel will have Sismahal, Wax Museum, Planetarium, Ghost Bungalow, one thousand capacity conference center, restaurant zone, swimming pool, and 66 rooms. The cost of the Queen's Tower to be constructed at the upper station is Rs. 800 million.

The company is preparing to build the world's tallest bungee jump, tallest mechanical swing, and musical water sauce to make the project more attractive, said operator Taranath Upadhyaya.

There will be a lower station in Thuldhunga of Bandipur village municipality-4 and an upper station in Baralthok of the same ward. The cable car connecting Thuldhungaswara to Baralthok will be able to carry 200 people at a time.

The cable car will travel one kilometer and 600 meters. Banking partners are Nepal SBI Bank and NMB Bank Limited. The cost of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism is Rs. 1.66 billion while the capital and loan ratio is 39-61.

It is said that 61 percent shares of RKD Real Estate and Construction Limited and Tourism Investment Fund Limited, 25 percent shares of Panchase Cable Car and Tours Limited, and 14 percent shares of local investors including Bandipur village municipality have been distributed in the project.
