Buddha Air is preparing for its first international flight from Pokhara Regional International Airport.
Buddha Air is going to make its first international flight from Pokhara Regional International Airport, which is operating from December 17. For this, the company has submitted an application for permission to the regulatory body Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
"We have started preparations for the first international flight from Pokhara Airport. If everything goes well, the first international flight will be from Buddha Air", said Dipendra Karna, information officer of Buddha Air.
Buddha Air has planned to fly to three destinations in India: Pokhara-Banaras-Pokhara, Pokhara-Delhi-Pokhara, and Pokhara-Dehradun-Pokhara.
International flights at Pokhara airport will be through a 'single approach'.
According to Karna, international flights and landings will only be made from the east side of the airport, while flights and landings can be made from both sides of the runway on the domestic side.
