The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has launched a summer tourism promotion campaign for the Indian and Bangladesh markets to support the tourism industry of Nepal. India and Bangladesh are two rapidly growing outbound markets from where 26.3million and 2.5 million visitors travel abroad annually. With 6-8% of annual economic growth over the last few years, the potential visitors of these countries have increased disposable income too.
June, July, and August are considered as the low season in tourism in Nepal. The rising temperature in major cities of India and Bangladesh motivates them to travel to the destinations having a cool temperatures. Looking at this opportunity, CNI has supported this “Garmi Se Behal?, Chalo Nepal” campaign. This is going to be promoted through CNI’s network with the chambers and industries of India and Bangladesh, the travel trade fraternity of the region, and our diplomatic missions. 800000+ companies are associated with this network in India and Bangladesh. CNI hope that this initiative will help to increase the tourist arrivals in Nepal.
