Turkish Airlines has added another destination in its US sector. The airline has started flying to Newark, New Jersey with daily frequency starting from June 1, making it the 325th destination worldwide for the airline that flies to more countries than any other airline.
Turkish Airlines already operates to nine major cities in the USA.
“We are pleased to expand our presence in North America with the opening of our 10th US gateway, and look forward to welcoming travellers aboard this new route to experience our world-class service, award-winning cuisine, and world-famous Turkish hospitality,” proclaimed Turkish Airlines Board Chairman Ilker Ayci.
Established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 351 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to 325 worldwide destinations. Currently, Turkish Airlines Kathmandu operates weekly flights to Istanbul and beyond and is the only European carrier that connects Nepal directly to Europe.
