Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has raised concerns over the decision to impose a 13 percent value-added tax (VAT) on air-travel tickets for visits abroad and demanded its withdrawal.
The local administration in Karnali Province has demanded to implement online tickets for air services stating that there was no easy air service in the Province.
Scores of passengers, including students, leaving Humla district for their destinations have been stranded as they have been struggling to book air tickets.
