A turnover of Rs 15 million has been made on the fourth day of the industrial and trade fair being organized in Salaghari, Bhaktapur.
Chairman of Industrial Peace Nepal, Sandeep Mahat, informed that business was increasing at the fair. Consumers, according to him, are buying daily necessities, clothes, shoes, agricultural and handicraft items, and vehicles.
The fair includes fashion and dance, exhibition of industrial products, exhibition of science and technology, activities related to rural technology, automobile exhibition, exhibition of electric machines and agricultural tools, said coordinator Deepak Thapa. The entrance fee for the fair is Rs 40 for students and Rs 50 for others.
The fair, which started on April 8, will continue till April 15. There are more than 200 booths in the fair. The organizers estimate that the fair will generate a turnover of Rs. 80 million. The fair is organized by Industrial Peace Nepal and the Madhyapur Boys Band.
